Edinburgh Eras Tour Recap + Jason Speaks on Tayvis!

Hello everyone and welcome back to A Swift Look! I’m Zoe Jewell, and today we’re diving into a lot of exciting news. We’ll cover Taylor Swift’s recent shows in Edinburgh, some interesting tidbits from Jason Kelce about Taylor and Travis, and a sweet moment shared by Britney Mahomes. Let’s get started!

Recapping Taylor’s Edinburgh Shows

Taylor Swift recently performed three incredible shows in Edinburgh, Scotland. As always, the surprise songs were the highlight of the weekend. Here’s a breakdown of the unforgettable moments from each night.

Night One:
Taylor kicked off the first night with “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” and elements of “I Know Places.” The combination of these two songs was a brilliant move. The way Taylor blends songs from different eras is always fascinating. She followed up with “‘Tis the Damn Season” and “Daylight,” another unexpected but delightful pairing. “Daylight” is one of my absolute favorites, and hearing it live was such a treat.

Night Two:
The second night featured “The Bolter” with elements of “Getaway Car,” followed by “All the Girls You Loved Before” and “Crazier.” The performance of “Crazier” was particularly special, as it’s a song Taylor wrote as a teenager and hasn’t performed live during the Eras Tour until now. This night was a standout for me because of the nostalgic value of “Crazier.”

Night Three:
On the final night, Taylor performed “Dorothea” and “It’s Nice to Have a Friend,” followed by “Haunted” with elements of “Exile.” While “It’s Nice to Have a Friend” isn’t my top favorite, it was still a memorable performance. “Haunted” paired with “Exile” was a fantastic way to close the weekend.

If I had to rank the nights, I’d say Night Two was the best due to “Crazier,” followed by Night One, and then Night Three. I’d love to hear your thoughts on which night you would have wanted to attend!

Jason Kelce on Taylor and Travis: Life in the Spotlight

Jason Kelce recently appeared on Andrew Santino’s podcast, where he discussed how crazy life has become for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. He mentioned that Taylor and Travis can no longer lead normal lives due to their immense fame. Jason said, “Kylie and I think we have it bad, then we go hang out with one of them for a second. This is a whole other situation here; you can’t be a normal person at that point.”

The Kelce family has certainly experienced an increase in attention, partly due to the success of Travis and Jason’s podcast and their association with Taylor Swift. It’s clear that the fame and scrutiny can be overwhelming, but Jason expressed hope that Taylor and Travis can find moments of peace and normalcy.

It’s a challenging life, but it’s good to know that Taylor and Travis have each other for support. Their relationship seems strong, and they appear to handle the pressures of fame admirably.

Britney Mahomes’ Sweet Taylor Swift Moment

Britney Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, shared a touching moment on her Instagram stories over the weekend. She and Patrick attended a Tim McGraw concert in Kansas City, and during the show, McGraw performed “Highway Don’t Care,” a song featuring Taylor Swift. Although Taylor wasn’t there in person, her part of the song played on the video screen behind McGraw.

Britney recorded the moment and shared it on Instagram, showcasing her support for Taylor. This isn’t the first time Britney has shown her admiration for Taylor, and it’s heartwarming to see their friendship blossom. I miss the fun, energetic content from their time together at football games, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of them together in the future.

Conclusion: What’s Next?
