In this modern adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma, we follow the main character Cher as she tries to play matchmaker for her friends, teachers, and herself. The mutable earth sign will be able to relate to Cher’s loyalty as well as her helpful yet slightly pushy nature. And remember Virgos, even though you are represented by the Virgin, doesn’t mean that you are a virgin who can’t drive.

M. Night Shyamalan has written so many great movies like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. He also wrote possibly the worst thriller of all time. Like the main character in this movie, Megan, Virgos often feel the need to be perfect every minute of every day. Virgos have garnered a reputation for being quite timid and unable to relax. Does that sound like a certain telekinetic, religiously traumatized outcast that we know? Virgos will feel vindicated as they watch an overly-anxious girl get revenge on her cruel classmates and evil mother by coming into her own power.
4. Where The Heart Is
Virgos are earth signs, so they are driven by their need to put down roots. But they are also mutable signs, so they are adaptable. The main character in this film played by Natalie Portman exemplifies these traits. The movie tells the story of a teenage mother who, after giving birth in a Walmart, builds a life by surrounding herself with a loving and supportive community. This is a perfect film for Virgos to watch with their chosen or biological family members.
3. The Crucible
This film is a fictional take on one of the most infamous witch events in our country’s history, so it makes the list. Virgos will love this movie mainly because of Elizabeth Proctor. They will be able to identify with her over-critical, pragmatic, and loyal nature. Also, I’m sure that Virgo’s mercy could freeze beer.

2. Knives Out
Because Virgos are so naturally curious and intelligent, they love a good murder mystery. And Knives Out is possibly the best murder mystery of our generation. On the first watch, Virgos will have fun trying to solve the mystery. And on all of the subsequent watches, they will enjoy picking up on certain aspects that they missed before. The mutable signs will relate to the analytical and endearingly kind detective Benoit Blanc. And if Virgos love Knives Out they will adore the sequel Glass Onion.
