10 Baseball Prospects Who Blew It with Bad Attitudes

Being talented isn’t always enough to make it in the big leagues. Baseball history is full of prospects with sky-high ceilings who let their egos, tempers, or poor decisions get in the way of a successful career.

Whether it was clashing with coaches or just being a locker room headache, these players learned the hard way that attitude matters. Here are baseball prospects who let their bad attitudes derail what could’ve been legendary careers.

Bradley had legit skills but was constantly surrounded by controversy. His explosive personality made him more famous for fights than for his stat line.

Dukes was considered a top talent with serious upside, but his off-field problems and angry demeanor sealed his fate. Teams grew tired of managing the drama.

8. Matt Bush

A former No. 1 overall pick, Bush never got traction thanks to repeated legal trouble and a hot-headed streak. His raw stuff didn’t matter when his behavior kept derailing his path.

Milledge was flashy and confident, but teammates and managers weren’t exactly charmed. His immaturity rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and stunted his growth in the league.

6. Josh Sale

He had the tools to be a perennial All-Star, but couldn’t stay out of his way. From bat-throwing incidents to clubhouse friction, his behavior always made headlines for the wrong reasons.

4. Brien Taylor
