Angel Reese Rewrites WNBA Record Books Against Sparks

Angel Reese Becomes Fastest in WNBA History to do So

Angel Reese added another historic milestone to her resume Tuesday night, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 600 career points and 600 rebounds, according to Polymarket Hoops.

Entering the game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese had tallied 602 points and 596 rebounds across her first 47 career appearances. She wasted no time making history in the opening quarter, contributing 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists as the Chicago Sky looked to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Evolution of Angel Reese

Angel Reese has blossomed into one of the league’s brightest stars in her second season. Through the first 13 games of 2025, the 2024 All-Star is averaging 10.8 points, a league-leading 11.8 rebounds, and a career-best 3.5 assists per game.

She’s also showing improvement in her shooting. Her three-point percentage has jumped from 18.8% in her rookie year to 27.3% this season, an encouraging sign for a forward with ever-expanding range.

Sky head coach Tyler Marsh continues to lean on Angel Reese as the foundation of the team’s offensive and defensive strategy. Alongside fellow 2024 first-round pick Kamilla Cardoso, Reese is giving the Sky one of the most dominant young frontcourts in the WNBA.

More Than Just Stats

Beyond the numbers, Reese’s hustle, physicality, and leadership continue to shine through. She’s not only hitting historic marks, but also growing her game in ways that bode well for Chicago’s rebuild.

As the Sky look to climb out of their 3–10 hole this season, having a generational rebounder and emerging playmaker in Angel Reese gives them hope for the long haul.
