The spookiest thing about Leos is that their symbol is a ferocious carnivore. Other than that, this fixed fire sign is not spooky at all. Leos are much too flashy to be mysteriously spooky and much too warm hearted to creepy.

Taureans are mom friends. And I don’t mean that in the Norman Bates sense of the word. They care too much about their loved ones to be considered scary. The fixed earth signs are too selfless to be spooky. I did rank them spookier than Leo because they can be a bit hedonistic, which can be a spooky trait.

Geminis are too fun and kind-hearted to be spooky. The mutable air sign is extremely communicative so they are not very secretive or mysterious. However, they can be erratic and unpredictable, which is a pretty spooky trait. Even though they are an open book, you still never know what their next move is.

9. Capricorn

Capricorn is too busy to be spooky. However, they are the second spookiest earth sign for a reason. Every zodiac sign is connected to a specific tarot card. And Capricorn’s tarot card is The Devil. And come on, what’s spookier than the Devil?

Aries are typically sweet-natured and optimistic. It’s hard to be spooky when you are a hyper-active, bouncing ball of energy. That being said, Aries are known for their explosive anger. And anger, while not very spooky, can be quite scary.

Pisces is the spookiest least-spooky sign on this list. They are so empathetic and compassionate that it’s hard to imagine such a selfless sign being spooky. But remember, Pisces is a mutable water sign. All mutable signs are unpredictable and all water signs are mysterious. Their lack of predictability and mysterious nature makes them spookier than the aforementioned signs.

If Pisces is the spookiest least-spooky sign, then Cancer is the least spooky of the spookiest signs. Does that make sense? Like Taurus, Cancerians are mom friends who care a lot about their loved ones, so they can’t be too spooky. But they are mysterious water signs ruled by the moon. And though the moon is beautiful, it is kind of spooky.

Sagittarians are party animals. They not only love a good time, they want to make sure everyone around them is having a good time. However, they are an unpredictable mutable sign, and as we said earlier, unpredictability is pretty spooky. They are also incredibly broody, which makes them the spookiest fire sign.

Aquarians are quiet loners who are always paying attention. So you may not always know what they are thinking. But they appear to always know what you are thinking. Their wise and solipsistic nature puts them at the fourth spookiest sign.

And the number one spookiest in the zodiac is Scorpio! Scorpios are known to be secretive and vengeful water signs. They are also just as angry as Aries. And the spookiest holiday of the year? Halloween comes right at the beginning of Scorpio season. And as previously stated, Scorpios are statistically more likely to be serial killers than any other sign.
