12. Leo (Least Demure)

Leos are many things. They are warm-hearted, generous, and entertaining. But there is absolutely nothing demure about the fixed fire sign. They are loud and extravagant. Their personalities tend to take up all the space in the room. If they had their way, they would be decked out in luxury like the kings and queens they are. They may not be demure but that’s why we love them.

11. Scorpio

Is anyone really surprised that Scorpios are ranked so low on a “demure” list? I mean, the only reason they are considered more demure than Leo is because they are slightly more quiet and secretive. But they are also very open about their sensuality. Their charm lies in their overly flirtatious ways.

10. Aries

I’m sure no one is shocked that the cardinal fire sign is about as demure as a forest fire. They can be very optimistic and sweet. But “sweet” is not always synonymous with “demure.” They are bombastic like Leo and flirtatious like Scorpio. Aries are always ready to speak their minds. They are also full of righteous anger and will defend themselves and others with little provocation.

9. Gemini

Aries may never shy away from speaking their minds. But Geminis speak their minds, bodies, and spirits! They will talk to anyone about anything and encourage everyone else to talk to. Though we love the mutable little chatterbox, their loquacious ways are not very demure. Also, a Gemini would 100% wear a green cut crease.

8. Taurus

You may be wondering why Taureans are so low on the list. The fixed earth signs are so level-headed and kind that one would suspect that they are one of the most demure signs on the zodiac. However, Taureans are wholesome hedonists. They are just as luxurious as Leos, just as angry as Aries, and almost as lascivious as Scorpios.

7. Aquarius

Aquarius is the most demure of the un-demure signs. Aquarians are quiet, thoughtful, and solipsistic. So why are they still ranked amongst the least demure? Aquarians are the most rebellious sign in the zodiac. They may be quiet, but they are certainly not shy or modest. Like Aries, they will loudly defend others. They also like to dress in unconventional and eye-catching ways. They may not be very demure. But they are very mindful.

6. Pisces

Aquarius was the most demure of the un-demure signs. But Pisces is the least demure of the demure signs. Pisces are sweet-natured and empathetic, and empathy is very mindful. They can be a little shy which is considered very demure. But as a mutable sign, Pisces can be an unpredictable wild card at best and an unhinged chaos gremlin at worst.

5. Cancer

Basically, take everything I said about Pisces and copy-paste it for Cancer. The reason the Moon-Children are ranked higher than Pisces is that they tend to be much more mature than their fellow water signs. Since they are ruled by the moon, they can be extremely moody. But they also know how to rein their moodiness in when they need to. You just got to love how mindful they are.

4. Capricorn

Capricorns are no-nonsense and tend to dress and behave in a slightly more conventional way than the other zodiac signs. Being conventional is very demure. But they tend to look out for number one before taking care of others, which is not very mindful.

3. Sagittarius

You may be surprised to see Sagittarius, the party animal sign, ranked so high on the list. Let me explain. Sagittarians do live a good party and they are always quick with a joke. But they are also very introspective. An emotionally mature Sagittarian knows when it is appropriate to crack a joke and when it’s appropriate to sit back and listen. Which is very mindful. And since they are the broody dark horse of the zodiac, they tend to wear darker, more chic colors. Which is very demure.

2. Libra

Libra’s are peacemakers, so they can have a demure personality. Because Libra is so diplomatic, they tend to be extremely mindful of the people around them. However, they do love avant-garde art and fashion. So they may not always dress very demurely.

1. Virgo (Most Demure)

Virgo ticks off all the boxes for being the most demure and mindful sign in the zodiac. They are no-nonsense like Capricorn, but they are also incredibly kind-hearted. Their kindness allows them to be very mindful. They can be a little timid and a little shy. And they also look their best in earthy colors and muted tones.
