When asked about his role in Dallas, Pickens smiled and said, “I’m definitely excited to run better plays, for sure.” That remark instantly sparked headlines, as many interpreted it as another veiled shot at the Steelers’ offensive system. This wasn’t the first time Pickens appeared to shade his former team. Just last month, he congratulated Minkah Fitzpatrick on his trade to Miami, clearly thrilled for his ex-teammate’s fresh start away from Pittsburgh.
