UNC Football Denies Banning Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Jordon Hudson

The unusual saga involving Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson continues to generate headlines. This time, dragging the University of North Carolina football program into the media firestorm.

A recent report by sports journalist Pablo Torre claimed that Hudson had been banned from UNC team facilities due to concerns about her presence becoming a distraction. Torre, citing unnamed “North Carolina sources,” made the claim on an episode of his show Pablo Torre Finds Out. The story quickly circulated, especially amid the public’s fascination with the age-gap relationship between the legendary 73-year-old coach and the young model.

However, the university wasted no time in setting the record straight. According to On3 Sports, representatives for North Carolina confirmed Hudson is neither an employee nor officially affiliated with the football team. But is permitted to be on school grounds and support Belichick freely. The university emphasized that there is no ban in place and dismissed the report as inaccurate.

Media Attention Follows Jordon Hudson to Chapel Hill

While the school’s denial addressed one rumor, others continue to swirl. Torre also claimed to have spoken with a “Belichick family source” who expressed concern that Hudson’s presence was negatively impacting the coach’s health and potentially tarnishing his legacy. That particular claim has not been confirmed or denied by anyone within Belichick’s circle.

Hudson herself has not publicly commented on the reports. Known for being vocal on social media and quick to defend her relationship, her silence has been notable. Still, the impact of her relationship with Belichick has already been felt in Chapel Hill.

Earlier this offseason, UNC was reportedly a top candidate to be featured in HBO’s Hard Knocks for the 2025 college football edition. However, reports suggested the network cooled on the idea, potentially due to the added media scrutiny Hudson brings. Her viral CBS interview with Belichick also raised eyebrows, and may have discouraged other media outlets from engaging with the program.

While her ties to the team are unofficial and indirect. Hudson has nonetheless become a recurring figure in stories about the Tar Heels. Something that frustrates those hoping to focus on football rather than off-field spectacle.

As Belichick settles into his new role at UNC, the program may need to brace for continued media interest not just in their football strategy. But in the ongoing off-field attention generated by the coach’s unconventional relationship with Jordon Hudson.

For now, UNC is standing firm: Jordon Hudson is not banned, and she remains free to support her boyfriend. But her presence will likely continue to generate headlines, whether the program wants it or not.
