Shedeur Sanders’ Perfect Practice Turns Heads at Browns Camp

Shedeur Sanders Goes 9-for-9 With 2 TDs in First Padded Practice

Shedeur Sanders is starting to let his play do the talking. The rookie quarterback, drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round turned in a flawless performance during his first padded practice on Monday, completing all nine of his pass attempts and throwing for two touchdowns with zero interceptions.

The outing comes after a string of minor off-field distractions, including recent traffic violations. But now, Sanders appears locked in as he battles for a roster spot at Browns training camp.

Fans React to Shedeur’s Standout Showing

Social media lit up following Sanders’ performance. A clip posted by Polymarket Blitz on X stirred fans into heated debate.

“We can all agree that he is the most talented QB on their roster… right?” one user asked.

“He should easily be QB1,” another chimed in.

“Pocket awareness is pretty good for a rookie,” said a fan impressed by Sanders’ poise.

Despite being projected as a first-round talent, Sanders slid to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, something fans and analysts still find surprising. One fan even lamented, “We drafted Will Howard over him,” while another added, “Time will always tell.”

While it’s still early, Sanders’ 9-for-9, 2-TD outing is the kind of practice tape that gets attention. However, he’ll need more days like this, and zero distractions off the field to seriously compete for a starting role.

The Browns open their preseason on August 8 against the Carolina Panthers, followed by matchups with the Eagles and Rams. The regular season begins on September 7, when Cleveland hosts the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe Burrow in a high-stakes AFC North showdown on FOX.
