11 Reasons Why the SEC Thinks It’s Better Than Everyone

There’s college football, and then there’s SEC football—a completely different universe where tailgates start on Wednesday, and 8-4 seasons spark existential crises. For fans of other conferences, the SEC’s attitude might seem a little excessive, but to SEC faithful, it’s just confidence.

Whether it’s national titles, stadium size, or simply a belief that football is a birthright, the SEC walks around like it’s the main character of college football—and maybe it is. Here are 11 reasons why the Southeastern Conference struts around like it owns the sport.

Next came a 15-yard touchdown by Brock Bowers (19) with 3:33 left, and finally, Kelee Ringo (5) intercepted from Alabama and ran for a 79-yard touchdown with about a minute on the clock, sealing the deal for Georgia.
