15 Quarterbacks Who Acted Like Divas Under Center

Quarterbacks are supposed to be the calm, collected leaders of the huddle. But sometimes, instead of leading the charge, they start acting more like celebrity drama queens than football players.

From sideline tantrums to endless finger-pointing, these QBs brought some serious diva energy to the field. Whether it was complaining about teammates, coaches, or just demanding constant praise, they made sure all eyes stayed on them—whether it helped the team or not.

15. Jay Cutler

Cutler’s body language alone could’ve filled an entire soap opera season. The sighs, the shrugs, the “don’t care” vibes—he was football’s version of a moody rockstar.

14. Jeff George

George had the arm talent, but also had a knack for burning bridges. He clashed with coaches everywhere he went and acted like he was always the smartest guy in the room.

13. Kyler Murray

Murray hasn’t exactly been shy about expressing frustration, whether it’s with playcalling or body language on the sideline. He brings big-time talent—and even bigger main character energy.

12. Kerry Collins

Collins could throw a deep ball, but he also brought some off-field diva moments and locker room friction. Teammates didn’t always appreciate the attitude that came with the arm.

11. Vince Young

Young expected to be treated like royalty after his rookie year. When things didn’t go his way, he wasn’t afraid to make it known—publicly and dramatically.

10. Carson Palmer

When Palmer didn’t like what was happening in Cincinnati, he straight-up walked away. Holding out and forcing a trade isn’t exactly a humble move.

9. Cam Newton

Cam had the flair, the fashion, and the flash—but sometimes his reactions after losses stole the headlines. When things were good, he was electric; when they weren’t, the mood shifted fast.

8. Zach Wilson

Wilson hasn’t been shy about deflecting blame when things went south. For someone still trying to prove himself, he’s leaned a little too hard into the diva script.

7. Johnny Manziel

Johnny Football was more about the brand than the grind. He acted like a superstar long before he earned it—and flamed out just as quickly.

6. Philip Rivers

Rivers was talented, but his constant chirping on the field and dramatic sideline antics gave off strong diva vibes. He always had something to say—whether anyone asked or not.

5. Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy G had the looks, the endorsements, and the spotlight—and sometimes seemed more interested in all of that than staying healthy or leading a team. Availability wasn’t always his best trait, but confidence never wavered.

4. Deshaun Watson

Watson’s departure from Houston was filled with drama, tension, and demands. Off-field headlines aside, he hasn’t exactly been the quiet, humble type under center.

Big Ben loved the spotlight—but also played the victim card when things went wrong. For someone who acted like the leader, he sure threw a lot of teammates under the bus.
