Hull, who has three second-place finishes in major championships, collapsed twice on the fourth tee during her round. According to Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols, she had been battling a virus and was forced to withdraw from the tournament after being taken off the course on a stretcher.

“Charley Hull forced to withdraw from the Evian after collapsing on the fourth tee twice. Golf Channel reporting that Hull has been suffering from a virus,” Nichols reported on X.
