Paige Bueckers’ Viral Highlight Has the WNBA in Awe

Paige Bueckers isn’t just off to a hot start; she’s putting up historic numbers and viral highlights in her rookie WNBA season with the Dallas Wings.

In the Wings’ latest game against the Washington Mystics, Bueckers became the fastest rookie in league history to hit 200 points and 50 assists, surpassing none other than Caitlin Clark.

Paige Bueckers Move That Shook the League

But it wasn’t just the stat sheet that had fans buzzing, it was the move.

Midway through the game, Bueckers delivered a jaw-dropping behind-the-back dribble into a spin move jumper that sent fans and social media into a frenzy. The Wings’ official account called it “crispy,” and fans on X (formerly Twitter) agreed:

“Nastyyyyy.”
“So cleaan.”
“This is not normal.”
“Might honestly have one of the best bags in the WNBA already.”

Even neutral observers couldn’t help but admit, Bueckers is the real deal.

At halftime, Bueckers had eight points, five assists, and two rebounds, leading the Wings to a 31–29 advantage. Though still early in the season, she’s already proving to be one of the most polished rookie guards the league has seen in years.

She’s not doing it alone either. Tuesday’s game was also a breakout moment for Li Yueru, who posted a double-double by the third quarter, adding firepower to a Wings squad chasing their fourth win.

She Is Just Getting Started

The view from inside College Park Center in Arlington said it all, fans were on their feet, watching a young star blossom before their eyes. With highlight plays and history-making numbers, Paige Bueckers is quickly becoming must-watch TV in the WNBA.

And if this is just the beginning, the league better be ready for what’s next.
