10 NFL Teams That Couldn’t Develop a QB if Their Life Depended on It

Some teams have the magic touch when it comes to quarterbacks. Others? Well, they couldn’t develop a franchise guy if you handed them a cheat code and a crystal ball.

These are the teams where quarterback careers go to die. No matter the talent, hype, or draft position, something always goes hilariously (or painfully) wrong.

They’ve been chasing the ghost of Matt Ryan ever since he left. And even when they had him, they somehow managed to fumble the bag at the worst possible moments. Michael Penix Jr has potential, but we’ll have to wait and see how he turns out.

9. Carolina Panthers

They had a brief fling with Cam Newton, but outside of that? It’s been a carousel of mediocrity and dashed potential.

8. Tennessee Titans

They keep drafting quarterbacks like they’re collecting lottery tickets, and somehow, none of them ever hit. It’s a cycle of false hope followed by very real disappointment.

7. Arizona Cardinals

For a franchise that’s been around forever, you’d think they’d have figured this out by now. Instead, they keep hitting the reset button like it’s a broken Madden franchise mode.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady doesn’t count—he was already a GOAT when he showed up. Every other QB project in Bucs history has been a slow-motion car crash.

5. Chicago Bears

It’s actually impressive how consistent they are at getting it wrong. Every draft pick comes with hope, and every season ends with shoulder shrugs.

4. Cleveland Browns

The Browns have burned through more quarterbacks than some teams have jerseys. It’s become a rite of passage for young QBs to go there and promptly fall apart.

The Jets are where quarterback prospects go to lose their confidence. It’s a mix of chaos, bad coaching, and even worse luck.
