15 NFL Quarterbacks Everyone Pretended Were Great

Some quarterbacks rack up stats, others rack up wins, and a select few somehow rack up unwarranted praise. Whether it was a fluke season, a strong supporting cast, or a good PR team, these guys were talked about like legends when they were just fine.

This list isn’t about pure busts or obvious backups. These are the quarterbacks who were treated like franchise saviors, face-of-the-league types—only for reality to eventually catch up and say, “Wait a second, were they even that good?”
