Michael Kim’s PGA Tour Bathroom Mystery Has Fans Cracking Up

Michael Kim isn’t just making waves on the PGA Tour with his 2025 hot streak. He’s also become one of the most entertaining voices in professional golf. Known for his unfiltered posts on X, Kim just dropped a wild tale that has fans both laughing and gagging.

Michael Kim’s 2025 Hot Streak

At 31, Kim is enjoying a resurgence. He reclaimed his PGA Tour card after grinding it out on the Korn Ferry Tour. And has since posted a runner-up finish at the WM Phoenix Open and a top-5 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. With three top-10 finishes in 13 starts, he’s climbed to 18th in the FedEx Cup standings. And earned entries into elite events like the 2025 Masters, where he finished T27.

PGA Tour Porta-Potty Puzzle

But this week, Kim’s online fame took center stage again thanks to a bizarre tale from the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head. In a post simply titled “Story from Hilton Head,” Kim described a cringe-worthy scene discovered by a caddie in a course porta-potty.

Inside the stall, the caddie found a pair of heavily soiled boxer briefs tossed in the corner, an unwanted souvenir from someone’s on-course emergency.

“There are player/caddie only porta potties near tee boxes,” Kim wrote. “One caddie went to use one on Thursday morning and in the corner of the porta potty, sees a pair of boxer briefs with some…”

Kim revealed that a few curious individuals launched an informal investigation into the incident. Zeroing in on the brand of the underwear found in the porta-potty. One person even managed to trace the brand to a professional PGA Tour player known to be sponsored by that company. However, Kim quickly cleared up any speculation, joking that it was “proven that it wasn’t him lol.”

The mystery remains unsolved, but the internet had a field day. Fans loved the rare peek behind the curtain into the sometimes messy, very human side of life on the PGA Tour.

Between his play and his posts, Michael Kim is carving out a unique place in golf, and not just as a competitor. But as a storyteller who’s not afraid to share the weird, wild side of the sport. And this explains why fans love him.
