Ranking the 10 BEST Quarterbacks of the 2024 NFL Season

The 2024 NFL season has given us some extraordinary performances from quarterbacks across the league. But, while talent is abundant, only a select few have risen above the rest and established themselves as elite. Here’s our definitive ranking of the top 10 quarterbacks of the 2024 NFL season.

One of the surprises of the season has to be Kyler Murray, who has looked pretty good for much of the season. Not only has he managed to stay healthy, but he’s limited the turnovers and has gotten this Cardinals offense in a better place.

C.J. Stroud had a great rookie year with the Houston Texans and he’s been improving on that this year. While he has struggled a little bit to complete passes under pressure, he’s proven himself as a solid quarterback who will have success in the league for years to come.

New head coach Jim Harbaugh has really given quarterback Justin Herbert the tools to be successful and it’s paying off. While the Chargers are battling for second place in the AFC West behind Kansas City, there’s a chance they could sneak into the playoffs.

It’s looking like Jayden Daniels will be the 2024 NFL Rookie of the Year and he 100% deserves it. Sure, he’s made some rookie mistakes, but he has shown immense composure and confidence.

6. Jalen Hurts — Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts has really improved in 2024 after a slightly disappointing last half of the 2023 season. The Eagles are looking like a strong contender in the NFC and Hurts has shown great poise and patience.

5. Jared Goff — Detroit Lions

Yes, Jared Goff has a great offensive line, receivers, and coordinator, but he is still playing well. In fact, the Detroit Lions look like one of the best teams in the NFL and no one is going to want to face them come the playoffs.

4. Patrick Mahomes — Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is not having his best season, and yet, the Chiefs are still the top team in the AFC. This guy just finds ways to win football games even when it looks like the odds are stacked against him.

Joe Burrow is having an MVP type of season and yet the Cincinnati Bengals have a losing record and look like they’re going to miss out on the playoffs. Burrow has done everything right, but it’s just not paying off.

2. Lamar Jackson — Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson is having another very strong season, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. While the Baltimore Ravens have suffered some tough losses, there’s no question Jackson is one of the top quarterbacks in the league.
