13 NFL Coaches Who Acted More Immature Than Their Players

Every NFL locker room has its share of big personalities, but sometimes the coaches outdo even their most hot-headed players. While coaches are supposed to be the leaders and role models, a few have famously let their emotions get the best of them, making headlines for all the wrong reasons. 

From sideline tantrums to press conference meltdowns, these coaches proved that age doesn’t always equal maturity. Here are 13 NFL coaches who, at times, acted more immature than their players.

13. George Halas

“Papa Bear” Halas was a founding father of the NFL, but he was also notorious for his sideline shouting and fiery temper. His passionate outbursts set the tone for generations of coaches who weren’t afraid to let loose in front of everyone.
