Established in 1959, the New York Jets play their home games at MetLife Stadium, shared with the New York Giants. The Jets became the first NFL team to defeat an NFL club, winning Super Bowl III in 1968. They have never reached the Super Bowl again. They are owned by Johnson & Johnson heirs Woody and Christopher Johnson.

Founded in 1946 as the New York Knickerbockers (later shortened to Knicks), the team plays its home games at Madison Square Garden. Madison Square Garden Sports owns the team. They are one of only two original NBA teams still located in their original city. They were successful during their early years, in the late 1960s and the 1990s.

Founded in 1960 as the Oakland Raiders, the team moved to Los Angeles from 1982-1994, then returned to Oakland in 1995. They relocated to Las Vegas in 2020. The team has won 15 division titles, 4 AFC championships, and three Super Bowl championships. Home games are played at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. Raiders’ owners are Mark and Carol Davis.

Founded in 1920, the Chicago Bears have played their home games at Soldier Field since 1971. The Bears have won 9 championships (the second-most in the NFL), have the most enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and have retired the most jersey numbers. Virginia Halas McCaskey, daughter of team founder George Halas, owns the Bears.

Established in 1925, the New York Giants won the 1927 NFL. They play their home games at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and share the stadium with the New York Jets. They rank third among all NFL franchises with eight NFL championship titles, behind the Packers (13) and Bears (9).

Founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams, they moved to Los Angeles in 1946, St. Louis in 1994, and returned to LA for the 2016 season. The team is the only NFL franchise to win championships in three different cities. Home games are played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, which opened in 2020. Stan Kroenke owns them.

4. New England Patriots: $7 billion

Founded in 1959, the New England Patriots play their home games at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. They have sold out every home game since 1994. The Patriots hold the record for most Super Bowl wins (6), appearances (11), and losses (5, tied with the Denver Broncos). They are owned by the Kraft Group, whose CEO is Robert Kraft.

Founded in 1946, the Golden State Warriors moved to San Francisco from Philadelphia and took on the city’s name before changing its moniker to Golden State in 1971. Since 2019, home games have been played at Chase Center, located in the Mission Bay neighborhood. Venture capitalist Joe Lacob and film producer Peter Gruber own the team.

Founded in 1903, the New York Yankees is the most iconic team in baseball. The team is owned by Yankee Global Enterprises LLC, controlled by the family of the late George Steinbrenner, who purchased the team from CBS in 1973. Home games are played at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The Yankees are among the leaders in MLB attendance.

Established in 1960, the Dallas Cowboys are headquartered in Frisco, Texas. The Cowboys have played their home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, since its opening in 2009. The Cowboys hold an NFL record for 190 consecutive sold-out regular and post-season games (home and away) beginning in 2002. In 1989, Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys for $150 million.
