Bubba Wallace’s Wife Calls Out His Costly NASCAR Error

Bubba Wallace’s Wife Didn’t Hold Back After Costly NASCAR Incident

Bubba Wallace found himself on the receiving end of a blunt reality check. Not from his team, but from his wife Amanda, after a dramatic NASCAR clash with Alex Bowman in Chicago.

Racing for 23XI, Bubba Wallace was spun by Bowman late in the race, and he responded with retaliation that ultimately cost him a playoff position. The broken toe link on his car knocked him down to 28th, while Bowman finished 8th and advanced in the In-Season Challenge.

Although the two drivers calmly discussed the incident afterward, the damage had already been done. Wallace lost precious playoff points and fell further behind in the standings.

Amanda Wallace’s Unfiltered Reaction Sparks Turning Point

Back at the hotel, Amanda didn’t mince words. On the Stacking Pennies podcast with Corey LaJoie, Wallace admitted, “She was pretty pissed off at me… She was like, ‘It was really [expletive] dumb.’”

Amanda, the mother of their son Becks, delivered a harsh but honest assessment: “You just gave up 20 something points. Now you’re going to be stressed for the next seven weeks.”

Her tough love struck a chord. Wallace described it as a wake-up call that fueled his determination moving forward.

Redemption at the Brickyard: Wallace Wins in Indianapolis

However, that motivation paid off. Just weeks later, Bubba Wallace bounced back with a hard-fought win at the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis, his first NASCAR Cup Series win since 2022.

He survived a rain delay and double overtime to take the checkered flag and lock in his playoff spot. “You see like the playoff picture and there’s no more +3 or +4 to the No. 23,” he said. “It’s times 1 with the win sticker and we’re P9 in points.”

Amanda was there to celebrate, smiling beside her husband and son as the Wallace family posed for photos at the track.
