Fans Call for Tom Brady’s Exit From Fox Over Raiders Ties

NFL fans are raising serious concerns over Tom Brady’s role as Fox’s lead NFL analyst while also holding a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

When Tom Brady signed his massive 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox in 2022, most welcomed the idea of the former Patriots and Buccaneers QB joining the broadcast booth. But things have changed since he became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders in March 2023.

Now, fans say Brady’s dual role is a blatant conflict of interest, and they’re demanding action.

A recent viral clip posted by Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team showed Brady wearing full Raiders gear at the team’s training camp. That alone was enough to trigger a wave of angry reactions across social media.

“If Brady wants to be an owner, he needs to step away from the commentary booth,” one fan said bluntly.

“He should not be allowed to be an analyst on FOX,” another user echoed.

“So this guy is gonna announce games?? Seems like a huge conflict,” a third added.

Tom Brady Broadcasting Rules.

Though Brady reportedly has special rules in place to avoid bias, the criticism hasn’t stopped. Fans argue that even the perception of bias undermines the credibility of Fox’s No. 1 NFL broadcast team.

During the 2024 season, Brady only called two games involving teams in the Raiders’ division: Chiefs vs. 49ers in Week 7 and Chiefs vs. Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. But for many, even that limited exposure is too much.

“Why is the minority owner of a team the color commentator on FOX’s #1 broadcast team?” one fan asked. “I still don’t understand this at all.”

As the 2025 season nears, Fox could be forced to address the growing controversy or risk losing the trust of diehard NFL viewers.
