Fans Sound Off After Shedeur Sanders Misses Browns Practice

Shedeur Sanders News Sparks Conversation Among Fans

The Cleveland Browns continue to navigate one of the most unpredictable quarterback battles of the offseason, and Shedeur Sanders has found himself at the center of the latest controversy.

With Deshaun Watson still rehabbing an Achilles injury, the Browns brought in veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, along with rookies Dillon Gabriel and Sanders. But despite all the new faces, no clear QB1 has emerged.

On Saturday, the Browns made headlines when they unexpectedly held Sanders out of practice due to “arm soreness.” The announcement, which hadn’t been disclosed earlier, quickly stirred buzz across social media.

‘Shoulder soreness’ from what, carrying the Louis Vuitton luggage from the car? Dudes getting 10 reps a day. Embarrassing stuff,” one fan joked on X.

Others were more supportive, suggesting that Sanders has been the most promising of the group.

“Can’t blame the team, he is single-handedly carrying the offense in training camp.”

“Having the best camp of all the QBs there. Either he really needs rest (I doubt it), or they’re trying to help the third-rounder look better. Something seems fishy.”

Some fans even went as far as accusing the Browns of downplaying Sanders’ progress in favor of Dillon Gabriel, a third-round pick who’s struggled with accuracy during camp.

With four quarterbacks in the mix, it’s unlikely that all will make the final roster. One may be cut or assigned to the practice squad. That puts pressure on Sanders to shine during preseason action, especially with the Browns set to take on the Carolina Panthers this Friday.

All eyes will be on how head coach Kevin Stefanski handles Sanders’ reps. Whether this arm soreness is a genuine concern or part of a deeper QB room strategy, it’s now one of the most talked-about developments in Cleveland’s camp.
