Rashee Rice Sentenced in 2023 Crash
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has officially learned his fate following the shocking street racing crash that left several injured last year. A Dallas judge handed down a five-year probation sentence. Along with 30 days of jail time for Rice’s role in the high-speed collision on U.S. Route 75.
Rice had been clocked going 119 mph in a Lamborghini Urus, racing alongside SMU wide receiver Teddy Knox. The reckless driving led to a six-car pileup, injuring at least seven people and making national headlines.
According to Adam Schefter, Rice can serve the 30-day jail term at any point during the five-year probation window. While this brings closure to the legal side of things, the NFL is expected to weigh in next. A multi-game suspension is almost inevitable as the league finalizes disciplinary actions.
