Angel Reese’s New WNBA Deal draws Praise From Former All-Star

Angel Reese is making major waves off the court, and her latest achievement is earning praise from one of the WNBA’s best.

On Wednesday, 2K Games announced the upcoming cover athletes for NBA 2K26, and Reese was front and center. The WNBA Edition of the popular video game will feature the Chicago Sky star on its cover, solidifying her growing presence in sports and pop culture.

The 2025 NBA 2K26 cover lineup also includes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Standard Edition), Carmelo Anthony (Superstar Edition), and a special Leave No Doubt Edition that will feature all three stars, including Reese.

Adding to the excitement, Reese also announced the upcoming launch of her first signature sneaker—the Angel Reese 1, created in partnership with Reebok and set to drop in 2026.

Former WNBA champion and Finals MVP Kahleah Copper didn’t hold back her admiration. Reacting to the reveal on X, Copper wrote:
“Pradaaaaaa youuuuuuu @Reese10Angel 🥹🤞🏾❤️”

A Bright Spot in a Tough Season

While the Chicago Sky have struggled this season under new head coach Tyler Marsh—holding a 5-13 record. Reese has been a dominant force. She’s averaging 13.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, and she leads the WNBA in rebounding.

Her latest milestone? Reese just recorded her sixth straight game with 15+ rebounds, setting a new WNBA record.

Despite the team’s struggles, Reese continues to elevate both her game and her brand. And now, she’s doing it with a signature shoe and a video game cover to match.
