Caitlin Clark Fan Slams WNBA Players Amid All-star Voting Drama

Fever Fan’s Hilarious Sign About Caitlin Clark’s All-Star “Snub”

Caitlin Clark has had her name dragged through headlines recently over her ranking in WNBA All-Star voting, and not for the fan votes, where she led by a mile. The controversy? She was ranked ninth among guards by her fellow players, sparking wild debates across social media.

But one Indiana Fever fan had the best response to the so-called “controversy,” and it didn’t come in a post but a sign.

“Ninth in Your Rankings, First in Your Nightmares”

That’s what a fan’s bright yellow sign read at Tuesday night’s Commissioner’s Cup game. Where the Fever edged out the Minnesota Lynx despite Clark not suiting up due to injury. But she was courtside to cheer her team on and celebrate the win.

The sign quickly went viral, with many calling it a “10/10” moment. And really, it summed up the vibe perfectly: Clark’s presence, love from fans, and her ability to dominate headlines even when she’s not on the court speaks for itself

A Non-Issue Blown Out of Proportion?

As Yahoo Sports pointed out, Clark’s ranking by her peers shouldn’t be because of controversy. She’s a rookie, she’s been injured, and she’s still adjusting to the league’s physical demands. Yet she still leads the WNBA in fan votes, earned All-Star captain honors, and helped turn the Fever into a must-watch team.

Clark herself hasn’t addressed the noise, and frankly, she doesn’t have to. But if she did happen to catch that sign, there’s no doubt she’d appreciate the clever jab.
