Patrick Mahomes’ Mom Makes Stance on Trans Athletes in Women’s Sports Clear

Randi Mahomes, mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, didn’t hold back when asked about the ongoing debate over transgender athletes competing in girls’ and women’s sports.

During her appearance on the “MOMetize Your Passion” podcast with Tirralan Watkins, Mahomes addressed the recent uproar surrounding a transgender athlete winning events in California high school track, a topic that’s drawn national attention, including from former President Donald Trump.

“Not a Fair Matchup”

When asked about fairness in sports, Randi Mahomes said: “There is a huge difference between male and female… I just think that women really need to be with women. And men need to be with men. I think that makes it fair.”

She emphasized that her views were rooted in biology and fairness, not discrimination.

“I love everyone… But when it comes to physical strength and just our DNA, I don’t think it’s fair.”

Furthermore, Mahomes suggested that transgender athletes could have their own league or category to maintain fairness in competition, similar to how sports have historically separated athletes based on sex.

“Maybe they create a league that everyone that’s transgender could go to and have a fair game or activity.”

Patrick Mahomes’ Mum Known for Being Vocal

This isn’t the first time Randi Mahomes has spoken publicly about her views. She’s a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and has already expressed excitement about his attendance at Super Bowl LIX, where Patrick’s Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.
