Tiffany Stratton’s Hilariously Off-Target First Pitch at Mets Game Goes Viral

The New York Mets edged out the Washington Nationals 4-3 on Thursday, but it was Tiffany Stratton who stole the show before the first inning even started. The WWE Women’s World Champion took the mound at Citi Field to deliver the ceremonial first pitch, and delivered a viral moment instead.

Known for her flamboyant flair and signature catchphrase, “It’s Tiffy Time,” the 26-year-old wrestling star hyped the crowd before unleashing a pitch that missed the mark in spectacular fashion.

Social Media Reacts: “Make It Make Sense”

Tiffany Stratton pitch, which soared high and wide, lit up X (formerly Twitter) within minutes. MLB.com posted the moment with the caption:

“IT’S TIFFY TIME 🫣,” followed by a sweating emoji.
The video quickly took off, prompting hilarious reactions across social media:

  • “She can do a moonsault but struggle(s) to throw a ball. Make it make sense.”
  • “She still throws better than she wrestles.”
  • “Clearly Tiffy was throwing to John Cena on the on-deck circle.”
  • “Did Tiffy see Charlotte Flair in the crowd?”

Even Tiffany Stratton herself embraced the blunder, reposting the clip and laughing along with Mets fans. It’s rare to see a WWE star go viral for something outside the ring, but then again, Tiffany Stratton is anything but ordinary.

Still a Star, Even With a Wild Pitch

While her aim may have missed, her charisma certainly didn’t. Stratton managed to turn a sports blooper into a viral celebration of her larger-than-life personality. Whether she’s inside a WWE ring or on a baseball diamond, Tiffany Stratton knows how to command attention.

And if Thursday’s Mets pitch proved anything, it’s definitely Tiffy Time, whether fans are ready or not.
