Every NFL season brings surprises, but one thing remains constant: somebody’s getting fired. Coaching jobs are always up for grabs in this league, whether due to bad records, locker room drama, or sky-high expectations.
With several head coaches already shown the door in 2024, another round of musical chairs could be coming. From first-timers feeling the heat to veterans running out of excuses, these coaches are heading into the 2025 season with job security hanging by a thread.
11. Aaron Glenn – New York Jets
Glenn’s taking over in a pressure cooker, and Jets fans aren’t exactly known for their patience. If things don’t turn around quickly, he could be a one-and-done.
10. Brian Schottenheimer – Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys’ job comes with sky-high pressure and an owner who doesn’t wait around. If Dallas falters early, Schottenheimer might not even survive the season.
9. Kellen Moore – New Orleans Saints
Moore is stepping into his first head coaching gig with an aging roster and an even worse cap sheet. If this rebuild doesn’t start with signs of life, he could be a quick casualty.
8. Pete Carroll – Las Vegas Raiders
At 73, Carroll is back on the sidelines trying to resurrect the Raiders. This comeback tour might not last long if things don’t go smoothly.
7. Kevin Stefanski – Cleveland Browns
Stefanski has flirted with success but hasn’t been able to sustain it. His time may finally run out in a burned-out city without a breakthrough.
6. Raheem Morris – Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons keep showing flashes but can’t seem to put it all together. If Morris can’t get this talented group over the hump, he might not get a third chance.
5. Mike McDaniel – Miami Dolphins
McDaniel has the vibes and creativity, but playoff wins? Not so much. If the Dolphins come up short again, his quirky style might wear thin in South Beach.
4. Zac Taylor – Cincinnati Bengals
Taylor still gets credit for the Super Bowl run, but the Bengals haven’t lived up to the hype since. With a stacked roster, another early exit could be the final straw.
3. Brian Daboll – New York Giants
Daboll’s first season was magic, but the follow-up has been a nightmare. This could be his last shot with a new quarterback and fan base out of patience.

2. Shane Steichen – Indianapolis Colts
Two years, mediocre finishes, and zero playoff games don’t scream job security. If the Colts flame out again, the search for stability could continue.

Callahan’s debut season was a disaster, and now he’s got the top pick and all eyes on him. If the Titans don’t turn it around fast, he could be gone as quickly as he arrived.
