‘Don’t Ever Say I’m Your Dawg’: Antonio Brown Blasts Deion Sanders On Social Media

Antonio Brown is no stranger to controversy, but his latest feud involves an NFL legend — Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. Over the weekend, Brown took to social media platform X to air out a series of personal grievances against Sanders. Revealing a long history between him and the Sanders family that, according to Brown, was one-sided.

In a lengthy post, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star detailed several moments over the past decade. He claims he supported Sanders and his sons — Deion Jr., Shilo, and Shedeur. Only to be met with silence or a lack of appreciation in return.

Brown, who last played in the NFL with the Buccaneers, posted a long thread recounting personal moments shared with Sanders and his sons. This includes fishing trips, private training sessions, and even a bizarre incident where Deion removed a fishhook from Brown’s toe.

“U ain’t need help and u sure never helped no one,” Brown wrote. “[Expletive] never ask about my toe since. Don’t say I’m ya dawg ever.”

A History of Helping — and Feeling Used

Brown detailed how he traveled to Dallas in 2014 to train with Deion’s eldest son, Deion Jr., and later helped Shilo Sanders, who Brown said was dealing with “fights, trouble, and rapping” in Pittsburgh during 2017. Brown also trained with both Shilo and Shedeur in 2020, claiming he offered his time and resources whenever the family asked.

“2014 I went to Dallas to train at Deion’s house with his son, Deion Jr. In 2017, Shilo came to Pittsburgh that summer—caught up in fights, trouble, and rapping. AB got the flight. Deion said to help.

The post paints a picture of one-sided loyalty, with Brown implying he never received the same level of support in return. The toe story, while humorous to some, symbolized Brown’s underlying message: a lack of gratitude and recognition from someone he once considered a friend.

2020 Came to Dallas again, running routes with Shedeur and Shilo. Same trip. Out fishing with Deion, and one of his hooks got stuck in my toe… This [Expletive] took the hook out my toe with pliers. U ain’t need help and u sure never helped no one. [Expletive] never ask about my toe since. Til this day. Wonder where ur toe went. Don’t say I’m ya dawg ever.”

The post quickly went viral, with fans reacting to both the bizarre tone and the sharp accusations.

Ongoing Tension with the Sanders Family

This isn’t the first time Brown has taken aim at the Sanders household. Just days earlier, he mocked Shedeur Sanders on social media after his projected NFL draft stock dipped. Accusing him of being too cocky. Brown’s posts suggest deeper resentment, perhaps fueled by what he sees as years of being overlooked or dismissed by the Sanders camp.

As of now, Deion Sanders has not responded to Brown’s latest comments. He’s known for maintaining focus on his coaching duties and avoiding personal drama in the media. It remains to be seen whether Coach Prime will address the situation publicly.
