The Quick Report

Ranking All 2024-25 NFL Teams From Worst to Best

The 2024-25 NFL season was a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring shocking upsets, underdog triumphs, and, of course, the Philadelphia Eagles hoisting the Lombardi Trophy when it was all said and done.

But how did the rest of the league fare? Let’s break it down from worst to best.

32. Tennessee Titans

It was a rough one in Nashville. The Titans never really got going, and their offense was about as threatening as a soggy biscuit. Better luck next year, Titans fans.

31. New York Jets

Aaron Rodgers
Openverse

The Jets went into this season thinking they could make a playoff run and then proceeded to have one of the most dysfunctional seasons of all time. They fired almost every person they could and even realized they’re going to have to move on from Aaron Rodgers. Tough stuff.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence still has potential, but the Jags took a big step back this year. Maybe 2025 is the real year of the Jaguar.

29. Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray was decent, but the Cardinals still found new and creative ways to lose. The season wasn’t a total bust, but it wasn’t great either.

28. Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young improved, but the team around him? Not so much. Carolina fans, at least you have the weather!

27. New York Giants

What the heck is going on in New York. Sure, the Giants didn’t have the expectations that the Jets had, but the season was bad. Good thing they got rid of their coach and GM! Oh wait.

26. Las Vegas Raiders

Another year, another coaching change, another season of ‘what ifs.’ Maybe next year they’ll roll a lucky seven instead of snake eyes.

25. New England Patriots

The post-Belichick era isn’t off to the best start. Turns out, life without the best quarterback of all time is hard. Who knew?

24. Chicago Bears

Chicago snagged Caleb Williams with the number one overall pick, but the team looked pretty bad for a majority of the season. Now that they’ve made a change at head coach, maybe 2025 will be their year.

23. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers went into the 2024 season with optimism, but a slew of injuries sent their playoff dreams down the drain.

22. Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson continues to show promise, but there seems to be a lack of consistency in Indianapolis right now. There’s hope, but also a lot of question marks.

21. Atlanta Falcons

A season filled with “if only” moments. If only they had stable QB play. If only they could close out games. If only their mascot could suit up.

20. New Orleans Saints

The season started out fairly well and then, well, things got messy. The Saints fired their head coach and had to play without quarterback Derek Carr for stretches of time, so it’s no surprise they struggled.

19. Miami Dolphins

They started OK but cooled off faster than a snow cone in July. Tua had moments, but they still couldn’t get over the hump.

18. Cleveland Browns

The defense was solid. The offense was… not. Another year, another “what could have been” for the Dawg Pound.

17. Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith still wrote back a little, but this team was scrappy and dangerous all year long.

16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield continues to prove he’s a solid quarterback, but the Bucs are still just an average team. They made the playoffs, and showed flashes of competence, but it just hasn’t been enough to go on a run.

15. Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow

What could’ve been for the Bengals. Despite Joe Burrow having an MVP-like season, Cincinnati still failed to make the playoffs. They need to figure out how to win close games more often.

14. Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott

Another disastrous season for the Cowboys. Dak Prescott just can’t seem to stay healthy long enough to get this team on a roll. Maybe the head coaching change will make the difference in 2025.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers looked like a team who could make a Super Bowl run towards the mid-point of the season, and then everything turned to you know what. In fact, their losing streak was so bad it had fans questioning Mike Tomlin’s coaching.

12. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert was solid throughout the regular season, but the Chargers kept finding ways to Charger their way out of success. Their playoffs collapse was also pretty terrible.

11. Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love proved he belongs in the league, and the Packers had a solid season, but they just can’t seem to get over the hump.

10. Los Angeles Rams

Stafford and McVay kept the Rams relevant, but the magic of 2021 was missing. Puka Nacua still had more catches than I have good ideas.

9. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings kept things interesting as always. Despite losing their rookie quarterback before the season even begin, the Vikings managed to pull out some incredible performances from journeyman QB Sam Darnold.

8. Houston Texans

Despite not having as good of a sophomore season as he did a rookie season, CJ Stroud is still a solid quarterback. Houston had a good season, but big injuries kept them from making a serious run.

7. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos were the surprise of the season. Not only have they found their franchise quarterback for the future in Bo Nix, but the team is finally putting strong performances together.

6. Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell’s Lions played with heart and bite, but their divisional round performance against the Washington Commanders was a tough pill to swallow. While they had a very strong season, Detroit fans will probably only remember the end.

5. Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels is the real deal. The Commanders not only made it back to the playoffs this season, but they made it all the way to the NFC Championship game. This is a team that looks poised for success in 2025.

4. Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson was unstoppable, the defense was elite, but somehow they still missed the big game. Still, a fantastic season.

Josh Allen and the Bills Mafia did their thing, but once again, heartbreak was waiting at the finish line. How many more times will they have to lose to Kansas City in the playoffs? Who knows.

Mahomes did Mahomes things and the Chiefs made it back to their third Super Bowl in a row, but this time, they fell just short. However, it was still an unbelievable season.
