10 Characters That Embody Big Leo Energy

It’s Leo season! Let’s show the fixed fire sign a little love by naming ten iconic characters who Leos will love and relate to.

10. Jasmine (Aladdin)

The only thing the strong and beautiful Princess Jasmine loves more than her independence is drama. Siccing her pet tiger on prospective suitors is an iconic Leo move. Like Leo, Jasmine is willful, generous, and a shameless flirt. She even used her powers of flirtation to take down Jafar. If that doesn’t resonate with Leo’s, I don’t know what will.

9. Megara (Hercules)

Only a fire sign would hang out with a guy whose head is always on fire. Of course flirtatious Megara would be a Leo! She may be willful and a little bit selfish, but she is also one of the most charming characters on the list. She has a heart of gold under her tough exterior.

8. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)

Gaston would be a Leo because he is the most vainglorious villain in the the small French provincial town. I mean he sings a song that mentions his name at least twenty times. Yes, I did keep count. Not only is he as vain as the leonine fire sign, he is also just as bombastic and willful.

7. Gene (Bob’s Burgers)

Gene is a full blown Leo sun sign and no one can convince me otherwise. He likes attention but he loves to entertain people around him. It doesn’t matter if he is wearing the burger costume, the Beefsquatch costume, or playing fart sounds on his keyboard, he is always in entertainment mode. He also has the best legs in the family.

6. Blackbeard (Our Flag Mean Death)

Blackbeard would be an absolutely perfect Leo. Leo is the fixed fire sign and the real-life Blackbeard proved he had no fear of fire when he would braid ropes into his beard and set them ablaze. Leos have big, warm hearts and Ed loves to show his warmer side to Stede. Leos also love to indulge in theatrics and Blackbeard is certainly well-versed in the art of… well, Stede called it “Fear Theatre.”

5. Crowley (Good Omens)

Any demon with a flying car has to be a fire sign. Crowley’s choice of vehicle is not the only reason I paired him with Leo. Crowley is a Leo because he is nothing if not dramatic. He is also incredibly warm-hearted where his dear friend Aziraphale is concerned.

4. Jareth (Labyrinth)

Like Sir Didymus, it was really easy to pair Jareth with Leo. Leos are natural born entertainers and there is nothing more entertaining than watching David Bowie dance around in tight (really tight) pants and singing magical pop songs. Like the fixed fire sign, Jareth is theatrical, bombastic, and just a tad bit egotistical. He also has amazing hair and I have never seen a Leo who didn’t have awesome hair.

3. Frank N. Furter (The Rocky Horror Show)

Rocky Horror Picture Show
20th Century Fox

Tim Curry May be an Aries but Frank N. Furter is totally a Leo! Frank has nothing but Leo in his chart. He embodies every known trait of the fixed fire sign. He manages to charm Brad and Janet quite easily. His style and personality is super bombastic. And he is nothing if not theatrical. But don’t worry Frank! We won’t get strung out by the way you look. We won’t judge a book by its cover.

2. Myrtle Snow (American Horror Story: Coven)

FX

Leo had to be paired with the character with the most fabulous hair in the show. Like Leo, Myrtle can be quite obstinate and theatrical. But she is also quite generous and warm-hearted towards the witches whom she takes under her wing. Plus, only a Leo would shout “BALENCIAGA!” at the top of their lungs while burning at the stake.

Louise embodies the fixed fire sign in her desire to be the most popular girl in school. Let’s be real, a Leo would totally use their magical powers to be the center of attention. I mean what could possibly top that?
