This 2003 remake of the 1969 film abundantly dispels the idea that these little minis are putt-putt mobiles. Far from it. One report says the production team used 32 custom-built Mini Cooper’s in the film. However, the stunt driver who drove the red Mini said the engines were absolutely standard. In the UK, the Italian Job was named the best car movie scene ever.

Considered one of the world’s most beautiful cars, the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder is also one of the most expensive. The pressure of this prestige makes the film outrageously fun when the teenagers take it out for a joyride. Everyone felt a knot in the pit of their stomach when the teens brought it back in less than pristine condition.

Loaded with gadgets, the Aston Martin DB5 is probably the most impressive car James Bond ever drove. It combines elegance and performance in a single vehicle. With its machine guns, front and rear rams, radar, and ejector seat, this vehicle set movie standards as the template of what a weaponized vehicle could be.

The iconic car chase from the 1968 film Bullitt revolutionized Hollywood standards. At times the chase reached speeds over 110 mph. In real life, Steve McQueen raced cars and motorcycles. The film used two 1968 325HP/390ci V-8 Ford Mustang GT Fastbacks with 4-speed manual transmissions which were then heavily modified. Ford sold a tribute car from 2019-2020.
